Welcome to my website. I have been writing online for nearly eight years now, and this is just another in a list of domains that I’ve owned and maintained over the years.

If you know me personally, please bear in mind that this is a journal, meaning that there may be thoughts and feelings written here that will be emotional, so kindly remember – I am human.

All journal entries provided here were written by me. All password-protected entries are only viewable by me at this time. I will eventually provide a password to a few of my readers so that they may read password-protected entries. Even then, there will still be some entries that are locked from all eyes except mine.  A journal, even online, is worthless if the writer cannot have a certain level of privacy.

There will never be identifying information pertaining to my place of employment, co-workers, or clients that I work with. Such information will not be provided if requested. I may, on occasion, refer to a co-worker by first name only, but it will not be in a post pertaining to work.

I have managed to remain in a safety net of sorts when it comes to the ‘net, and I plan to keep it that way. Rude, unnecessary, and anonymous comments will be deleted (that is, when comments are up and running) no questions asked. I will only allow the comments feature to be enabled for friends to use to contact me and for purposeful discussion. Drama will not be found or tolerated here. While it may be true that I am allowing my personal thoughts and feelings to be put out in public, that does not mean that I am allowing my website to become a public forum for arguments, insults, and non-constructive criticisms of my life.

If I want advice, I will ask for it. Otherwise, assume I am just venting.

My marriage is not perfect. No marriage is perfect. If I want help or advice regarding my marriage, I’ll ask for it.

Yes, in case you haven’t noticed, there is a random splattering of posts about certain websites or services. I am a member of a small group of “get paid to blog” websites. My husband and I are new homeowners and are in the process of nesting for the arrival of our little girl, Lily Maria, next spring, so we could use a little extra cash!

I’m well aware that having to read through sponsored posts can be a pain in the neck and very irritating. I personally make every effort to tie in the product or website to my “real life” and my real experiences, and every post is my honest opinion. I don’t merely copy and paste a blurb from the paid blogging site and claim it to be my own work. I try to consider these paid blogging sites a referral service for me. I get new websites to check out and I do my best to actually connect the site to something going on in my life at the time, so that I don’t waste my time or yours, and to be an honest paid blogger.

Should you dislike me, my website, my layout, my journal entries, or anything contained in this website, I invite you to click the “x” in the upper right hand corner of your screen, and you don’t have to return. No questions asked. I’m not here to force anyone to read or care about what I have to say.

I’m just here to be me :)
