Near & Dear

	I have been happily married for over four years now. We were married on August 13th, 2005. My husband and I have been together five years and we truly enjoy our time together. We go on trips and picnics quite often, and spend a lot of time enjoying our favorite TV shows, going to the movies, or doing gardening and yardwork. He is a closet techie who loves Atlanta Braves baseball, Stargate, Slurpees, a good batch of KFC, M&Ms, Michael Crichton, and bicycling.
	I have been fortunate in that I am still very close to my original “BFF”, Suzanne. Suzanne and I were in the same kindergarten class back in 1987, and we became friends when our school district changed boundaries and I moved to her neighborhood. We found ourselves not only in the same school, but in the same class, the same school bus, and the same neighborhood. We’ve been friends for most of our lives, and Suzanne was my Maid of Honor at my wedding in 2005.
	Steph is my wonderful sister-in-law. She is a student right now, and is currently living with with my mother and father in law. She was one of my bridesmaids and is as much of a Braves nut as my husband is! She also shares my love of Johnny Depp!!
	Geoff is my husband’s baby brother, so he is also my brother in law! He currently lives down in Hollywood, working at Universal Studios. He was my husband’s best man and is a great guy.
	Back in 1999, when Yahoo! Clubs still existed, I joined a Beatles club. Little did I know that lurking around that club was someone who would end up becoming one of my dearest friends. Bob and I have known each other for nearly nine years now, and he is very dear to me.
	MJ is one of my co-workers, and also one of my very best friends. She is a great dresser, has a great sense of humor, is very supportive and caring, and is my favorite coffee date!
