It’s crazy how quickly my parents became “grandparent-age”. When I look at them, I still think of them as being in their 30s. My mom seems to be handling it better than my dad. I can crack jokes with her about using an abacus to do math in school and having to buy human growth hormone, but I really need to be more mindful when talking with/joking with my dad. His body just isn’t what it used to be
